I'm a freelance writer, lecturer and translator. At the moment I'm writing my first book as well as two websites, freelanceintellectual.com, where I write on politics, culture and ideas, and headoflegal.com where I write about law. I'm a barrister, and spent twelve years as a lawyer in government, advising ministers including the Attorney General and negotiating for the UK in Europe.
